The Robert Noyce Scholarship Program
Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program (NSF) The Robert Noyce Scholarship Program is funded by the National Science Foundation to help increase the number of K-12 teachers with strong science and mathematics content knowledge who teach in high-need school districts. As part of this national program, Kennesaw State University (KSU) and the Georgia Institute of Technology are collaborating to recruit talented science and engineering majors into careers teaching high school physics or chemistry.The KSU/GT Robert Noyce Scholars Program will provide $10,000/year scholarships to KSU and Georgia Tech undergraduates during their senior year of undergraduate education, and during their enrollment in KSU’s 15-month Master of Arts in Teaching program. At the end of this 2-year period, participants will be fully certified to teach chemistry or physics in Georgia and are required to complete two years of teaching in a high-need school district for each year of support.
